Spango Opens Preschool Programming with a Spanish Twist!

To kick off National Hispanic Heritage Month, Spango invites preschoolers and their families to build their Spanish language skills through art, soccer, storytelling and more! "We are not your traditional Spanish class," explains Jackie Castillo, founder and owner at Spango.

Spango offers children an opportunity to play and celebrate in Spanish.

We integrate Spanish into traditional kid friendly activities. Activities such as art or soccer are used as a vehicle to promote teamwork, self-confidence, and creativity. All of our play based Spanish immersion programs contain an art, music, movement, and storytelling component conducted by experienced Spanish Speaking professionals. At Spango we also believe that kids can make a difference! We offer seasonal community projects families can contribute to instilling a giving spirit in children.

Did you know research shows a baby’s brain exposed to two languages can show growth as early as 11 months in age? We believe in the benefits of being bilingual which include, increased memory, cultural awareness, and strong thinking skills.

About Spango Classes

Our 10 week program starts the week of September 10th and ends November 12th. With different options offered throughout the Buckhead, Dunwoody and Sandy Springs areas, Spango is accessible to all parents with children under the age of five.

About Spango

Spango was founded by a local Atlanta mom who believes in the importance of preserving and sharing her culture with her community. A St. Pius graduate and mom of two, Jackie Castillo founded Spango in January of 2018 as a solution for families interested in exposing their children to different activities while simultaneously exposing them to the Spanish language. Jackie understands that families live on the go, so she created programming where families go to have fun, learn a news skill, and pick up the Spanish language.
